Our history

Algotech was founded as a small company in 1997. Today we have over 120 IT specialists and provide comprehensive IT services across six divisions. But our goal has remained the same for over 25 years - to help businesses and organizations through technology.
Our history
Algotech was founded in 1997 under the name Tservis97 as a small company engaged in the repair of telecommunications hardware.
The year 2002 was a milestone for us as we began providing a full range of telecommunications technology services under the Telco umbrella. Also we became a "Service Delivery Partner" of Avaya.
We established cooperation with other clients such as Czech Online, First Data and UPC, with whom we still cooperate today. We win our first client from the public sector and government government - the Statutory City of Ostrava. Two years later, another trio of major clients, namely PWC, AVG and AŽD, joined the company.

In 2010, we established a second division, ERP, which offers enterprise information systems. As a result, we have gained important clients such as Metrostav, Unicredit Bank and Gumotex. We have also started developing our own localisations of Oracle JD Edwards and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) enterprise systems.

In 2011, we held our "First Customer Day", which has become a tradition and is therefore held every year. It is a meeting with our customers for whom we have prepared lectures and interesting facts from our divisions. Each time they can also enjoy refreshments and a common activity. We strive to maintain not only professional ties with our clients, but also personal ties.
We built our own data centre and launched a third division called Cloud. Offering cloud services has brought new clients such as Lama Group, Czech Airlines, Moneta Bank and Telly. We also established a ServiceDesk department with round-the-clock support and the Algo Foundation. For the first time ever, we held a customer dinner for our clients.
We are moving to the Futurama Business Park office building in Prague's Karlín district, thus changing the company's headquarters.
In 2014, we implemented our own Algotech CC software for call centres and customer support for the first time.
The ServiceDesk division is created, which focuses on technical support and related services. We also acquire another major client: a national carrier ČD - Information Systems. For the first time, we are also implementing a project abroad, specifically in the USA.
In 2018, we acquired a 100% stake in SugarFactory, which kicked off the creation of a fifth CRM division with SugarCRM, which is among the top in the industry. Portfolio The client portfolio has grown to include Škoda Auto, Kapitol and CBRE. We have also expanded our services to include GDPR.
Our data centre and cloud services are awarded the highest security certification, ISO 27001:2014, which confirms that we handle data securely.

The year 2020, like other societies, will mark us with a coronavirus pandemic. We took the opportunity to reposition the company and develop the Algotech CC product, which is getting DEvConnect certification from Avaya. In addition, we are launching a GDPR application for fiduciaries and a GDPR portal. Our CEO, František Zeman, has been involved in this also became part of the Czech delegation that traveled to Taiwan this year. The trip was organised by the President of the Senate, Miloš Vystrčil.

We have also acquired other important clients - Czech Radio and Czech Radio, for which we designed the cloud infrastructure, provide web and digital operations mujrozhlas.cz. From 2022 onwards, we will also irozhlas.cz In addition, we have expanded AlgoCloud to include:

  • 800 TB of new drives for customer data
  • hundreds of vCPUs for applications
  • 8000 GB of RAM
  • GPU processors with 390 TFLOPS

Up to 12 million connections can be opened to applications in our cloud, and we are ready for VPNs with a total capacity of up to 8000 Mbit/s. 40 Gbit/s and in addition we can provide cloud for CAD and graphics applications.

This year, we helped Kaňák Group with its development in the cloud area, and at Raiffeisenbank we expanded the range of services we provide with the Algotech CC solution. was the acquisition of foreign clients, including Smithfield Foods and Garson & Shaw.

We are proud that SugarCRM has been named a top vendor in the Constellation Shortlist™ for B2C marketing automation for small and medium-sized businesses.

We have achieved the highest Sophos Platinum partnership in cloud services. We are also listed first in the eGovernment cloud catalogue computing directory and therefore meet the stringent requirements for providing services to government institutions. We are adding new customers to our portfolio every month, namely makes us very happy. In addition, we are celebrating 25 years since the company was founded and 10 years of operating our own data center.
This year we rebranded our brand, including the creation of a new website.
