PBW GROUP s.r.o. is a Czech family construction company operating since 2006 despite its English name. They specialize in greenfield construction and reconstruction. Mainly it is about interiors of companies, public buildings, shopping centers, office buildings and residential buildings. Among other things, they have worked on the well-known Čapí hnízdo resort. 

Summary of problems the company was dealing with

PBW GROUP needed a provider that could provide cloud services and take care of cyber security. They were looking for a company that would arrange the transfer of local services to the cloud and provide professional support. Since PBW GROUP was the contractor for the construction of our first data center, we had already established a professional connection that led the company to choose us to provide these services. 

How we helped the client 

We were the first to move basic local IT services to our cloud. Thanks to this, the company quickly had the availability and security of the necessary tools and could continue to work on its orders while we moved other company data. Gradually, we also moved the company's own products such as the construction diary, which is used not only by PBW GROUP but also by other construction companies across the Czech Republic, to the cloud. As part of the collaboration, we also handled security for all of the company's offices, including temporary offices within the construction sites. 

The result of our cooperation

PBW GROUP has been using IaaS services since 2014. We provide it with dozens of virtual servers and storage. To ensure the security of the company and its perimeter, we have chosen Sophos products, with which we have the best experience. We use them to protect endpoints, hardware and wireless network security. 

Thanks to us, the company does not have to run its own local team, which would be difficult and expensive to build within the company. Thus, PBW GROUP provides continuous professional support with a team of experts who are in charge of security issues, system maintenance and possible innovations.
